Natalia Oreiro is more alive than «Casi muerta»
Fernán Mirás, for his second film as a director after El peso de la ley (where we said that he amalgamated well the thriller and the drama with comedy steps, and even verged on denouncing cinema) took a turn and chose a comedy, plain and simple. And a tried and tested one. Because he adapted Bypass, the Basque film. And he added Natalia Oreiro as the main character.
At least, line, on the way to Bingo. Casi muerta is a comedy, at times a comedy of entanglements, at others romantic, in which humor is what prevails, sometimes very black because, as the title already warns, María, the protagonist (Oreiro, obviously) is more dead than alive.
And he who warns does not betray.
The co-star is Javi, a Diego Velázquez (who had already co-starred with Oreiro in the miniseries Santa Evita), in a role in which he has thrown himself into the pool: in cinema he is best known for dramas such as La larga noche de Francisco Sanctis, although many remember him as the corrupt prosecutor in the last but one short film Relatos salvajes.
