Lotawana is a new anthem movie for the restless. A monotonous life has pushed the unfulfilled Forrest (Todd Blubaugh) to a voyage of self-discovery by living amongst nature aboard his sailboat, Lorelei, on an alluring Missouri lake. Soon he catches wind of the rebellious and free-spirited Everly (Nicola Collie) and their idealistic dreams align. This thrilling and thought-provoking romantic journey follows the wanderlust couple as they are confronted by the challenges of their unconventional chosen path. Can they survive, reconnect with nature and rewrite their own rules of modern existence, or will they discover that society operates the way it does for a reason?

“Lotawana is a visceral rollercoaster of beauty and pain begging the question, ‘what makes a life worth struggling for?”

- Adam Fitzgerald, Iron & Air Magazine //  https://ironandair.com/blogs/news/lotawana

“I've watched Lotawana three times now and am continuously blown away by how powerful it is. The cinematography is absolutely beautiful and I was equally impressed by the storyline and execution of it.  It's hard to believe that this is Trevor’s first feature-film. The acting was so professional and he did such a great job pulling the viewer in and pulling out such deep emotion. I laughed, I cried, I thought about life and dreams.  I felt nostalgia, youth, rebellion, freedom, wanderlust and love, and I can't wait to watch it again.”

“Lotawana is as beautiful as it is boldly seductive! Director Trevor Hawkins proves that he is one to watch. He’s a talented filmmaker with fresh cinematic vision and an enormous amount of passion.”

- Shawn Edwards, FOX-TV Film Critic
